The Vice Chair inspects the new post installed by CC Highways for the villages new Morelock SID
programmed and installed by Community Roadwatch in an effort to reduce inbound speeds from Stretham
to safeguard school children (and residents) crossing at this location and needing 10 seconds to do so

A vehicles at 40 mph travels 60 feet per second, so .....
!! in 10 seconds these childten need a safety zone of 200 yards in each direction = 9 cricket pitch lengths to be safe!!

At 30 mph, a vehicles travels 43 fps so ...
in 10 seconds the children need only 143 yards = 6.5 cricket pitch lengths to be safe

SO ......
OBVIOUSLY THIS NEEDS TO BE A 30 LIMIT
